Convertible roof for the „Metzgergasse“ in Buchs (Switzerland)
At the end of the year 2014 we were able to roof the “Metzgergasse”, a popular shopping street in Buchs(Switzerland), with a convertible membrane. In open state the wave-shaped membrane roofs an area of 525 square-meters. The PTFE-fabric from the SEFAR AG has a translucence of 38% and meets highest quality standards. If required the membrane can be folded within 4 minutes and can be parked under a small membrane roof. The engineering was provided by Dipl.-Ing. Nikolai Kugel (Kugel Architekten) and Dr.-Ing. Julian Lienhard (str.ucture GmbH).
